Dental Radiographs

The common term for a radiograph is an x-ray. These images can help diagnose problems and conditions of the tooth roots and surrounding bone structures.  X-ray images are useful when planning our approach to tooth extractions.  If it is determined that your pet will need extractions, we will obtain x-ray images to develop our surgical approach and ensure that we are able to remove the tooth safely.  We may also utilize this to ensure that tooth roots were fully removed in cases of difficult extractions.

Full-Mouth Dental Radiography

Full-mouth dental x-rays are important to completely stage your pet's level of periodontal disease.  Our dental radiography pricing is included in the cost of your pet's Same-Day Dental Cleaning & Diagnostic Appointment.

Once Pet Dental Clinic understands the level of your pet’s dental disease, a treatment plan and home-care instructions will be developed in order to help your pet maintain a healthy mouth and hopefully avoid many extractions in the future.  For more information on our radiology services, call us at (720) 204-6483 today.
