Cowgill
Veterinarian/Owner
Dr. Cowgill grew up on a small hobby farm in Fruita, Colorado. She received her veterinary technician training through the U.S. Army Reserve while she completed her undergraduate education at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction. She graduated from Colorado State University’s veterinary medical program in 2011. She chose to pursue a career in companion animal medicine because she values the bond between people and their pets and enjoys helping clients make informed decisions about their care.
Dr. Cowgill has been working in small animal general practice for the past twelve years. Her main areas of professional interest are internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and of course, dentistry! Dr. Cowgill started the Pet Dental Clinic in an effort to provide a simpler, more affordable solution for pet owners along the Front Range. She feels blessed to be part of a small team using the talents that God has given them to help ease the load on people who love their pets.
When not working at Pet Dental Clinic, Dr. Cowgill continues to work relief shifts for local small animal practices so she can keep her general knowledge sharp. In her free time, Dr. Cowgill enjoys spending time with her family and all things outdoors. She loves traveling, camping, hiking, and water sports. Dr. Cowgill lives in Berthoud with her husband and three children. They share their home with a dog, cat, ferret, parakeet, rabbit, and a hamster.
