What to Expect

In your search for a veterinary dental and wellness facility, we believe you should expect high quality care as well as great service. Our goal has been to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary healthcare.

What makes us different:

Dentistry is our passion! We are dedicated to providing safe, high-quality, predictable dentistry services for your pet at an affordable price. We understand the apprehension you may feel and uncertainty when planning for your pet’s dental procedure.  That is why we have a clinic dedicated solely to dentistry and have set a maximum price that you may be asked to pay.

Your pet’s dentistry will consist of 1-2 visits.  You will schedule a Same-Day Dental Cleaning & Diagnostic appointment first.  At this appointment, we will start by ensuring your pet is healthy to undergo anesthesia by completing a thorough examination and evaluating bloodwork.  We will communicate our findings with you before you drop your pet off for his or her dental procedure.  We will discuss our treatment plan, and you will have the opportunity to have all of your questions answered.  Your pet will stay with us to complete the dental cleaning procedure, full-mouth x-rays, and up to 1 hour of tooth extractions if needed.

If your pet's dental requirements are extensive--beyond what we can complete within the allotted time--we will discuss this with you and schedule a follow-up Oral Surgery appointment for additional dental work if necessary.  This second appointment is not typically needed, as we are most often able to complete everything at your pet's first appointment.

If at any time it is determined that your pet may not be in good health to undergo a dental procedure, we will discuss your options thoroughly and offer you a solution. This may include performing additional tests prior to anesthesia or in rare cases, we may refer you to another hospital or specialist.  Please note that we do not offer advanced dental procedures such as root canal therapy or orthodontic treatment.

YOUR DOG or CAT MUST BE FASTED 6 HOURS PRIOR TO ALL DENTAL CLEANING APPOINTMENTS WITH US!

Ferrets do not need to be fasted.  If your pet has not been properly fasted, we may need to reschedule your appointment.

YOUR PET MUST HAVE A CURRENT RABIES VACCINE PRIOR TO SCHEDULING THEIR SAME-DAY DENTAL CLEANING APPOINTMENT!  Please bring your pet's previous vaccine record with you to your first appointment.

Please have vaccines updated at your regular veterinarian or give us a call if you'd like to schedule a separate vaccine appointment with us.  For your pet's safety, we recommend completing their vaccines prior to their anesthesia appointment.  If you are interested in a vaccine booster appointment, give us a call to schedule.  If your pet is NOT current on their Rabies vaccine at the time of their visit, we will need to convert their appointment to a Dental Consultation and vaccine appointment only and not be able to complete their dental cleaning that day.

In addition to dentistry, we offer all of your pet's routine wellness services, including vaccines, heartworm disease testing in dogs, FeLV/FIV testing in cats, annual bloodwork, and heartworm prevention products.
