Consultation/Diagnostic appointments are available in the afternoons. When you schedule your pet’s consultation appointment, you and your pet will be able to meet with the veterinarian and staff. Your pet will be examined for any health concerns and we will go over history and any medical conditions he or she might have. If your pet is found to be in good health, we will ask that you drop your pet off with us to complete the diagnostic portion of his or her exam. We will collect blood samples to assess organ function, and your pet will be given a small amount of sedative in order to perform a complete oral examination to fully determine his or her dental needs. Your pet will have full monitoring during the sedated portion of his or her exam to include ECG, blood pressure, and oxygenation. Your pet will be sedated for less than 20 minutes to obtain these diagnostics. You will be asked to return between 3:00-5:00 pm at which time our veterinary staff will then sit down with you to show you the extent of your pet’s dental disease through photographs and charting. Your pet’s dental procedure and associated costs will be determined and we will schedule this procedure when it is most convenient for you. If your pet is due for any vaccinations, we will be able to provide those at the conclusion of this appointment.
Please bring your pet's previous vaccination record with you to this appointment.
